You will oversee audits for diverse clients, including financial institutions, manage budgets and deadlines, and develop staff through coaching and guidance. Strong GAAP knowledge and client-focused service are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field is required.
• Minimum two years of public accounting experience in Audit/Assurance, preferably with financial institutions.
• CPA certification is preferred.
• Knowledge of GAAP and AICPA audit standards.
• Strong project management and communication skills.
• Ability to manage budgets and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead audit engagements from planning through completion, meeting deadlines.
• Assess processes, systems, internal controls, and audit risks.
• Develop audit programs aligned with identified risks and test objectives.
• Prepare and review workpapers, engagement letters, and financial statements.
• Review staff work for quality and timeliness.
• Coach and train junior auditors.
• Document audit conclusions with clear evidence.
• Use firm-provided audit software to review and compile financial information.
• Assist with engagement budgets and progress tracking.
• Support firm committees and training initiatives.
