Job summary

CLA is seeking an Audit Senior to join our State and Local Government practice in the Midwest. You will plan, lead, and execute assurance engagements, work closely with clients and decision makers, and audit complex areas to prepare financial statements and reports.

Required are a Bachelor's in accounting/finance, 2 years of audit experience, and SLG exposure is a plus; a CPA or CPA candidacy is preferred. Competitive compensation varies by geography.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• 2 years of relevant audit experience required.
• SLG industry experience is a plus.
• CPA or eligible to sit for the CPA exam preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and execute Assurance engagements to provide excellent client service.
• Collaborate with clients and decision makers while performing a wide range of assurance procedures.
• Audit complex areas/transactions and prepare financial statements and related reports.
• Research, analyze, and report on accounting, auditing, and related issues and developments.
• Schedule, delegate, and train team members to help them build inspired careers.
• Collaborate with managers/principals to ensure effective communication and service delivery.
• Get the opportunity to work with many great clients.
• Develop and maintain effective client relationships.
