Job summary

Wright Ford Young & Co. is seeking a motivated Audit Senior to join the assurance department in its Irvine office. This role requires 3-5 years of public accounting experience, a bachelor’s degree in accounting, and CPA licensure or progress toward CPA.

The ideal candidate will have strong GAAP knowledge and leadership skills, with flexibility for a hybrid work arrangement. The successful candidate will lead audits, reviews, and compilations across diverse industries, plan and execute

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of public accounting experience in planning and performing audits of financial statements.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA license or currently pursuing CPA license.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and auditing standards.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proven leadership skills demonstrating good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work in Irvine office and at clients as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Lead audit, review and compilation engagements for a variety of industries.
• Plan and execute audit and review procedures in accordance with professional standards.
• Identify accounting and internal control issues.
• Review audit staff workpapers and provide constructive feedback.
• Train and mentor audit staff.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships by providing excellent service and effective communication.
