Job summary

Citrin Cooperman is seeking a Senior Auditor to join our Audit Department in Massachusetts. You will lead audit engagements from planning through completion, coordinating fieldwork, testing, and report issuance, while ensuring quality and adherence to budgets and timelines.

You will utilize U.S. GAAP and GAAS knowledge, mentor staff, and collaborate with clients to deliver insightful, accurate financial statements. CPA eligibility and a minimum of two years in public accounting are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.
• CPA or 150 credit hours for CPA eligibility.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with a public accounting firm.

Responsibilities

• Conduct audit, review, and compilation procedures including testing of controls, substantive testing, and analytical procedures.
• Coordinate day-to-day duties, planning, fieldwork, and wrap-up.
• Lead and manage audit engagements from planning to completion with timelines and budgets.
• Mentor, train, and supervise staff.
• Communicate with peers, supervisors, and clients to build relationships.
• Stay updated on industry developments, regulatory changes, and auditing trends.
• Participate in professional development to enhance technical skills.
