Job summary

NextGenEnergyJobs is hiring for an audit professional with strong accounting background to perform audits for a Top 20 CPA and advisory firm. You will prepare work papers, adjust trial balances, and compile financial statements into written reports for clients.

Required 3+ years in public accounting, solid Excel skills, and familiarity with CaseWare or similar audit software. Travel to client sites is expected, with a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Licensed CPA preferred.
• 3+ years of experience at a public accounting firm.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Experience with CaseWare or other audit software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Team-oriented with good interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform audits accurately and skillfully.
• Prepare audit work papers and adjust trial balances.
• Plan client engagements using time management.
• Assemble trial balances and compile financial statements into reports.
• Communicate financial accuracy to clients and colleagues.
• Foster relationships with coworkers and clients.
• Travel to client sites as needed.
