Citrin Cooperman is seeking a Senior Auditor to join our Audit Department in McLean, VA. The role leads audit engagements from planning through completion, resolving issues, and communicating progress to clients.

You will mentor staff, supervise fieldwork, and ensure adherence to GAAP and GAAS while delivering high-quality service. The ideal candidate has a CPA or 150 credit hours, at least 2 years at a public firm, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office,

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• CPA or 150 credit hours for CPA eligibility.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with a public accounting firm.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of Caseware/Caseview is a plus.
• Leadership and teamwork skills.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct audit, review, and compilation procedures including testing of controls and analytical procedures.
• Coordinate day-to-day duties: planning, fieldwork, wrap-up to ensure timely delivery.
• Lead and manage audit engagements from planning to completion.
• Mentor, train, and supervise staff during engagements.
• Communicate with peers, supervisors, and clients to foster collaboration.
• Stay abreast of industry developments, regulatory changes, and auditing trends.
• Participate in professional development to enhance technical skills.
