Job summary

Christianson PLLP helps clients address accounting and financial reporting needs and ensures their operations meet standards with error-free controls. You will advise on complex matters arising from regulatory or strategic changes, and support on-call accounting guidance while building lasting client relationships.

The role emphasizes mentoring team members, collaborating with audit committees and client management, and contributing to business development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required; CPA preferred or actively pursuing CPA credential.
• 2+ years of public accounting experience, including audits, assurance, or advisory work focusing on complex transactions.
• Strong technical skills with deep understanding of at least one or two industries.
• Strong written, verbal communication, and client service abilities; capable of explaining complex concepts clearly.
• Leadership and mentoring skills to motivate others under tight deadlines or complex situations.

Responsibilities

• Consulting on complex accounting transactions and regulatory matters.
• Ensure quality work is performed timely and in line with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Engage client stakeholders to identify, assess, and deliver timely, accurate advice.
• Identify market and regulatory trends and build trusted advisor relationships.
• Participate in business development and cultivate client relationships for firm growth.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisors, Managers, or Partners.
