Legacy Search Advisors partners with a national CPA and advisory firm to recruit a Senior Audit Associate for its Assurance practice. You will participate in financial statement audits for clients across industries and work with the engagement team.

The role emphasizes substantive testing, internal control evaluations, audit documentation, and direct collaboration with clients, senior staff, and junior professionals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is required.
• Experience in external audit with a public accounting firm.
• CPA or progress toward CPA certification preferred.
• Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Participate in financial statement audits for clients across a variety of industries.
• Perform substantive testing, internal control evaluations, and audit documentation.
• Work directly with clients and senior engagement team members.
• Identify accounting and reporting issues and assist with their resolution.
• Help mentor and develop junior audit professionals.
