Job summary

Current, a rapidly growing CPA firm platform on the US East Coast, seeks an experienced auditor to join Assurance Dimensions' team. You will plan and oversee audits, supervise staff, review work for accuracy, and perform risk assessments across engagements.

The role requires 3–4 years in public accounting, GAAS/PCAOB knowledge, and strong communication. A CPA is a plus; US work authorization is required; travel may be minimal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; 3.0 or higher GPA preferred.
• Well-rounded knowledge of accounting principles; GAAS and PCAOB auditing.
• CPA (not required but a plus).
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee the auditing process through to completion
• Allocate responsibilities to supervise and train junior and staff auditors
• Review team members’ work for accuracy and compliance
• Perform effective risk and control assessments
• Complete audits on time and submit reports to audit managers
• Present audit findings and find ways to increase compliance and efficiency
• Coordinate and schedule audits
• Research technical matters
• Be extremely organized and manage various aspects of an engagement
• Some minor traveling will be required
