Job summary

Verital Advisory Search represents a client in Illinois seeking a Senior Audit Associate to join their growing Assurance team at a top public accounting firm.

You will work directly with A&A managers and leadership, manage engagements, and contribute to client service while building long-term relationships. CPA eligibility is required, with 3+ years in public accounting and preferred exposure to construction, manufacturing, technology, or M&A.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; Master's or advanced degree desired.
• CPA eligibility required, CPA desired.
• 3+ years of public accounting experience, including at least one busy season at the senior associate or supervisor level.
• Preferred experience within construction, manufacturing/distribution, technology, and/or business combinations (M&A).
• Strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal, project management, and communication skills.
• Highly developed software and Microsoft Suite skills.
