Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; 7+ years of relevant experience; substitute with AA/AS +2 years or HS diploma +4 years
• Proficiency in layout and design using industry standard software; emphasis on Adobe Creative Suite 6 Production Premium
• Knowledge of end-to-end production of professional video and audio materials; conception to distribution/publishing
• Understanding of copyright laws applicable to visual information production
• Experience designing and performing O&M functions for custom IT and communications equipment
• Expert solutions for Ethernet, grounding, RF, wireless settings and driver conflicts
• Expert in all phases of project lifecycle: design, procurement, integration, testing, deployment

Responsibilities

• Plan, design and prepare artwork for visuals and campaigns
• Research, edit and produce broadcast-quality video and audio materials for web and media
• Identify newsworthy events and craft scripts, narrations and PSAs
• Create photo stories and multi-page documents with advanced layouts
• Prepare sets with lights, cameras and audio for proper effects
• Edit final video products for continuity and narrative quality
• Maintain library of audio and video assets
• Collaborate with staff across communications teams
• Assist in developing content for new communication channels
• Select visual material and coordinate content integration
