Qualifications

• Active California State Bar membership in good standing.
• Seven or more years of Employment Class Action, Wage & Hour, and PAGA litigation experience.
• Proven ability to independently manage complex matters and drive litigation strategy.

Responsibilities

• Lead Employment Class Action, Wage & Hour, and PAGA matters through all stages of litigation.
• Develop case strategies including certification, discovery, damages, settlement and trial.
• Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and other complex legal filings.
• Take and defend party, witness, corporate representative, and expert depositions.
• Direct written discovery and analyze payroll, timekeeping, and workforce data.
• Represent clients at hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and trials.
• Work with experts on damages, liability, and class-certification issues.
• Negotiate resolutions that maximize value for clients.
• Mentor attorneys and collaborate with a strong litigation support team.
• Help shape the continued growth and success of the Employment practice.

• Lead Employment Class Action, Wage & Hour, and PAGA matters through every stage of litigation.

Requirements

• Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.
• At least seven years of experience in Employment Class Action, Wage & Hour, and PAGA litigation.

• Significant motion, discovery, deposition, and mediation experience.
• Class-certification, trial, or appellate experience strongly preferred.
• Exceptional legal analysis, writing, negotiation, and oral advocacy.
• Sound judgment and the ability to make strategic decisions in complex situations.
• A high level of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
