The Florida Department of Children and Families, through Children's Legal Services, seeks a Senior Attorney to advocate for the safety, well-being, and permanency of Florida’s abused, abandoned and neglected children.

As part of a team of 300+ CLS attorneys, you will handle multiple cases, ensure compliance with state and federal law, gather evidence with investigators and case managers, and prepare witnesses to support trials.

Competenze

• Law degree required.
• Minimum of 2 years bar admission.

Mansioni

• Advocate for safety, well-being, and permanency of Florida’s abused, abandoned, and neglected children in Chapter 39 proceedings.
• Handle multiple cases with primary responsibility and ensure Florida and federal legal requirements are met.
• Collaborate with investigators and case managers to gather evidence and prepare witnesses for trial.
• Employ best practice litigation techniques to lead the nation in dependency advocacy.
