Qualifications

• Alabama medical licensure to practice medicine.
• Current DEA registration in good standing.
• CME licensure requirements current.
• Knowledge of regulatory, administrative, policy, and clinical issues in managed care.
• Leadership experience in diverse settings with cultural and linguistic sensitivity.

Responsibilities

• Assure delivery of quality care to all patients in a respectful and professional manner.
• Participate in planning, development, and organization of medical services.
• Develop and review medical policies related to patient care.
• Conduct physical examinations at admission and ongoing as needed.
• Support comprehensive care planning, discharge planning, and staff education.
• Assist in preparation for regulatory agency site visits.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and city regulatory requirements.
• Prescribe and manage medications with thoughtful clinical judgment and patient discussion.
