Job summary

The position requires valid BOC certification and active licensure, plus advanced credentials and experience in rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• Current BOC certification as an Athletic Trainer.
• Licensed Athletic Trainer through IDFPR.
• Master’s degree in Athletic Training if graduated after July 1st, 2020; Bachelor’s degree if graduated before July 1st, 2020.
• Credentialing signifying advanced practice or equivalent training.
• 1-2 years of previous job-related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides athletic training and/or physical therapy services under physician supervision.
• Evaluates, manages, and rehabilitates acute injuries and conditions.
• Coordinates care within the sports medicine department and with external clinicians.
• Documents complete medical records for patients.
• Delivers emergency management and creates emergency action plans.
