Job summary

fingerlakes is seeking an Athletic Trainer Supervisor to provide clinical, operational, and supervisory leadership across school, physician practice, and hospital settings. This role coordinates athletic training services, supports injury prevention, rehabilitation, and safe return to activity while guiding staff and program development.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in sports medicine or related field, with NATABOC certification and NYS licensure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in sports medicine or related program required.
• NATABOC Certification and NYS Registration/License as a Certified Athletic Trainer.
• BLS Certification required through the RQI system during clinical orientation.
• Minimum age 21 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical, operational, and supervisory leadership for the athletic training program.
• Oversee delivery and coordination of athletic training services across school, physician practice, and hospital settings.
• Develop staff and support program growth and service development.
• Collaborate with physicians, schools, coaches, rehabilitation professionals, and other healthcare providers to ensure quality patient care.
