Job summary

Broadcom is seeking an ATE Test Development Engineer at its R&D center in Irvine, CA, to develop test programs for high-power networking switches. The role involves hardware development, testing, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop ATE test program for high power networking switches.
• Drive hardware development, working with PCB and probe vendors.
• Debug and bring up test hardware on ATE.
• Optimize test program for yield improvement.
• Collaborate with product and design engineers.
• Communicate with Asia production team for program releases.

Skills

Hands-on experience with Teradyne UltraFlex tester platforms

Ability to independently develop test programs

Support debugging/troubleshooting

Volume data analysis proficiency

Programming experience for test method development

Understanding chip performance

Extreme temperature testing of ASICs

Experience with AI tools for script development

Education

Bachelor’s Degree and 8+ years of experience or Master’s Degree and 6+ years of experience
