Brilliant® is seeking a Senior Assurance Accountant to lead and execute audit engagements for a diverse client portfolio. You will plan, perform testing, evaluate controls, and ensure regulatory compliance while guiding junior staff.

The role emphasizes client relationship management, timely delivery of high-quality work, and collaboration with engagement managers and partners on complex accounting matters.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–6 years of public accounting, audit, assurance, or related experience.
• CPA license or active pursuit of CPA certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting and auditing principles and standards (GAAP/GAAS/IFRS).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, coordinate, and execute audit and assurance engagements from planning through completion.
• Prepare and review financial statements, audit working papers, and supporting documentation.
• Perform substantive testing, analytical procedures, and internal control assessments.
• Identify audit risks and develop procedures to address them.
• Evaluate financial reporting processes and recommend improvements to clients.
• Review work prepared by staff and junior accountants for accuracy and completeness.
• Supervise, train, and mentor junior assurance team members.
• Communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients and engagement managers.
• Assist with complex accounting issues, technical research, and financial reporting matters.
• Monitor engagement budgets, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Maintain strong client relationships and participate in client meetings.
• Assist managers and partners with special projects and other advisory or assurance assignments.
