Job summary

Carr, Riggs & Ingram is looking for a Senior Associate to work closely with clients, managers, and partners in providing financial and operational analysis for due diligence engagements. Responsibilities include analyzing financial statements, leading preparation of quality documentation, and supervising lower-level staff.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of public accounting experience and excellent communication skills. Benefits include 21 PTO days, medical insurance, and a 401(k) retirement plan.

Qualifications

  • Ability to work additional hours as needed to meet client deliverables.

SENIOR ASSOCIATE, TRANSACTION ADVISORY SERVICES

The Senior Associate will work closely with clients, managers and partners to provide financial and operational analysis for buy‑ and sell‑side due diligence engagements.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with clients, managers and partners in providing financial and operational analysis for buy‑ and sell‑side due diligence engagements.
  • Act as the responsible party for specific engagements with investment banks, private equity groups and other corporate buyers.
  • Analyze historical financial statements and evaluate operational trends.
  • Help to lead, prepare, or delegate and oversee the preparation of Quality of Earnings databooks, proof of cash exercises, and management interviews.
  • Coordinate with the internal team and management regarding client expectations, timing, and logistics.
  • Effectively write and communicate the results of the findings from procedures.
  • Help to train and supervise lower‑level staff members.
Qualifications
  • Meets all requirements to sit for the CPA exam (those possessing CPA certification will be given preference).
  • Minimum 2 years of public accounting experience in Quality of Earnings or other Transaction Advisory Services.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Well‑developed decision‑making skills and initiative to make those decisions.
  • Work calmly and effectively under pressure.
  • Prioritize a heavy workload and remain organized.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a team setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems creatively.
  • Demonstrated ability with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Must be able to work additional hours as needed to meet client deliverables.
  • Some travel is required to various client sites depending on the scope of the engagements.
