Job description

Senior Associate, Training + Employee Lifecycle

New York, New York

About Bombas

Bombas is a comfort focused premium basics brand with a mission to help those in need. The company launched in 2013, after the founders learned that socks are the #1 most requested clothing item at homeless shelters. From there, they set out to solve that problem, donating a pair of socks for every pair they sell. How do you donate a lot of socks? You sell a lot. And how do you sell a lot? You make the most comfortable socks in the history of feet. Millions of pairs sold and donated later, Bombas has continued to innovate within its mission and product, introducing new socks, as well as underwear and t-shirts, the #2 and #3 most requested clothing items at homeless shelters, all while continuing to make a positive impact on the community where we all work and live.

  • Support facilitation, coordination, and documentation of internal training programs, including administration of the Gallup Strengths program

Retail Training Support (35%)

  • Support training execution and materials for Retail teams, aligned with Learning + Development standards
  • Travel to retail locations as needed to support training delivery and field adoption (up to 20% travel)
  • Assist with seasonal training initiatives, new store openings, and brand or product updates
  • Partner with Retail leadership to support onboarding and training for store employees
  • Help maintain centralized training resources that can be reused across stores and seasons

Employee Lifecycle Support (20%)

  • Support the onboarding and off-boarding revamp project, focused on systems setup and training sequencing
  • Support benefits-related new hire onboarding logistics and meetings

  • A team player who is willing and happy to help
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Belief in our mission and understand the importance of giving-back
  • Inquisitive, love to learn, embrace failure, and never give up
  • Comfortable working in an open office environment while staying focused
