Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Clifton, NJ is seeking a Sr. Associate, Production Planning to develop and implement manufacturing build plans to meet customer delivery schedules.

You will use the MRP system to input Master Schedule, track material availability, release shop orders, and maintain inventory integrity. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and knowledge of MRP or enterprise planning tools.

• Bachelor's degree or completed within the last 12 months in supply chain, manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement manufacturing build plans to meet delivery schedules.
• Use MRP to input Master Schedule, track material availability, release shop orders, and maintain shop order records and inventory integrity.
• Update and maintain make items lead times within MRP system; manage floor stock of program components.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing and Quality to execute build schedule and address issues promptly.
• Work with Materials Planners to manage schedule and material dock dates for accuracy.
• Provide hardware status and performance statistics to program team based on MES data.

Job Description:

• Develop and implement manufacturing build plans to meet customer contractual delivery schedules
• Utilize Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) system to input Master Schedule build plans, track material availability, status kit readiness, release shop orders, and maintain all shop order records and inventory integrity
• Update and maintain make items lead times within MRP system
• Manage floor stock of program components
• Work jointly with Manufacturing and Quality teams to execute build schedule and address any issues in a timely manner
• Work with Materials Planners to proactively manage the schedule and material dock dates to ensure accuracy of planning
• Provide hardware status, updates and performance statistics to program team based on status of hardware through Manufacturing Execution System (MES)

Essential Functions:

• Knowledge and/or experience in scheduling or supply chain planningpreferred.
• Strong computer and analytical skills combined with the ability to manage large amounts of quantitative data
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software;working knowledge of relational databases.
• Knowledge and/or experiencewith Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) or other enterprise planning and scheduling suite
• Ability to actively listen to customer and plant issues, efficiently troubleshoot problems andimplement solutions in a timely and customer focused manner
• Demonstrated analytical, verbal, and written communicationskills
• Proficient organization, conflict management, and adaptable in a rapidly changing environment

Qualifications:

• To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in supply chain, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering or other related degree or have completed their bachelor's degree within the last 12 months, regardless of age.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New Jersey, Washington is $74,500 - $85,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
