Job summary

McKesson is hiring a Senior Associate Product Manager for the Pharmacy Solutions team. You will support product strategy for pharmacy network products, work with engineering and design to translate requirements into usable features, and participate in agile development to deliver enhancements.

You will monitor product metrics, propose improvements, and assist in GTM strategies and documentation to enable adoption by internal teams and customers.

About The Team

CoverMyMeds’ Pharmacy Solutions team is looking for a Senior Associate Product Manager who will contribute to the development and execution of product strategy, focusing on solutions that optimize pharmacy operations and enhance patient access in medications.

What You'll Do

As a Senior Associate Product Manager your daily to-dos will shift with business needs, but here’s a snapshot of what to expect:

• Support the Senior Product Manager, Product Manager, Sr. Manager, or Product Director in defining and prioritizing features, epics, and user stories for pharmacy network products.
• Demonstrates general knowledge and curiosity of industry and market, performing research on own and contributing research insights
• Collaborate with engineering, design, and other cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into technical specifications and user experiences.
• Participate in agile development processes, including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, ensuring timely delivery of product enhancements. Identifying conflicting initiatives, escalating upwards, and contributes to understanding prioritization.
• Participates and collaborates with cross-functional teams to assess product needs, monitor and analyze product performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and informing future product iterations, as well as driving for impact on features and capabilities.
• Assist in developing and executing go-to-market strategies for new features and products, including internal training and external communication.
• Create, maintain, and refine clear technical documentation, release notes, user guides, and process materials that support internal teams, customers, and product adoption.
• Partner with product, engineering, support, and customer-facing teams to translate complex technical concepts into accurate, accessible content for varied audiences.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned product areas, supporting sales, marketing, and customer success teams. Contributes to/participates in customer. conversations to understand opportunities and contribute to MVP product recommendations.
• Understands and articulates the value being delivered and contributes to P&L and/or P&L decisions.
• Contribute to the overall product roadmap and strategy, including identifying and developing value proposition, for the Pharmacy Network Solutions portfolio.

Skills You’ll Need

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration) or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of experience in product management or a related role within the healthcare technology or pharmacy industry.
• Basic understanding of pharmacy operations, prescription workflows, and the healthcare ecosystem.
• Understanding of NCPDP Telecom Standard
• Demonstrated ability to contribute to product development cycles and work effectively with technical teams.
• Ability to write, edit, and organize technical content, including product documentation, implementation materials, release communications, and knowledge base content.

Preferred Skills

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with MadCap Flare or similar technical documentation authoring tools.

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$72,800 - $121,300
