Job summary

Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Accounting or related field required.
  • CPA license preferred or in process.
  • 3+ years of experience with a public accounting firm, investment bank, or the financial services industry (or general interest in supporting private equity fund operations and accounting).
  • Excellent communication, time management, planning, and problem-solving skills and the ability to multitask required.
  • Must have strong research and analytical skills and current knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS.
  • Must be able to communicate and interact professionally and effectively through written and verbal communication with current and potential clients.
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Requires ability to work both in team environment and independently.
  • Eagerness to learn and strong work ethic.
  • Knowledge of Investran or other partnership accounting software a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Records daily journal entries and reviews cash reporting.
  • Assists in the preparation of periodic reporting packages (monthly, quarterly and/or annual) with schedules to support the general ledger balances.
  • Assists in the preparation of periodic financial statements for management approval.
  • Assists in the calculation of management fees owed to the management Company for investment/portfolio management services.
  • Prepares quarterly investor capital statements for management approval.
  • Prepares capital call calculations and notices to investors for management approval, uploads the notices to the investor portal and monitors funds.
  • Prepares distribution calculations and notices to investors for management approval, uploads notices to the investor portal and monitors transfers.
  • Prepares and reviews correspondence with client investors to address inquiries.
  • Able to work with auditors and provide reports/support during audit.
  • Manages client investor portals.
  • Coordinates and completes special projects as directed by management.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Prepares distribution calculation and notices to investors for management approval, uploads the notices to the investor portal and monitors the bank transfers
  • Prepares and reviews correspondence with client investors to address inquiries, as needed
  • Able to work with auditors and provide them with reports/support to assist them during audit
  • Manages client investor portals
  • Coordinates and completes special projects, as directed by management
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $82,500 to $132,700. This range represents a good-faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation the firm expects to pay for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will depend on a variety of relevant factors, including an applicant’s skills, experience, qualifications, professional certifications, work arrangements, geographic location, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range, and compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case.
