A&M’s Private Equity Performance Improvement Services (PEPI) practice focuses on serving upper middle market and large cap private equity firms who have engaged A&M to help improve operating results at their portfolio companies. The companies we assess are upper middle market in the $50 million to $1 billion plus range.
Join A&M PEPI’s MI&C team to develop operational skills. You will be involved throughout the lifecycle of large, complex, high‑profile deals. The service line offers a structured, disciplined approach to create and capture value for corporate and equity buyers across mergers, acquisitions, carve‑outs, joint ventures, and alliances. We cover the full deal lifecycle from pre‑deal operational and synergy reviews to “Day 1” planning and post‑deal implementation, including due diligence, integration management office, synergy, TSA, planning, day‑one readiness, and post‑close execution.

Full‑time and part‑time positions (over 30 hours) are eligible for A&M fringe benefits which include healthcare plans, flexible spending and savings accounts, life, AD&D, and disability coverages, as well as a 401(k) retirement savings plan with a discretionary annual contribution. Eligible employees receive paid time off including vacation, personal days, 72 hours of sick time (prorated for part‑time employees), ten federal holidays, one floating holiday, and parental leave. Salary range is $100,000 – $170,000 annually, dependent on education, experience, skills, and geography. A&M offers a discretionary bonus program based on individual and firm performance.
