Job summary

IPG Mediabrands is seeking a Senior Associate, Investment to support across direct investments in Linear TV, Digital Streaming, and Audio. You will help create, innovate, and guide the buying process while partnering with leading consumer brands on a global scale.

The role offers exposure to diverse media channels and requires strong analytical and communication skills to manage buys and present data-driven recommendations to clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform media financial operations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Media bank or equivalent Inventory Management system.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• 1-2 years of buying experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily monitoring of network buys, set deadlines for schedules, and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Monitor cable and syndicated buys based on audience delivery data.
• Evaluate submissions and negotiate pricing.
• Prepare presentation materials with all buy data for client submission.
• Train associates on best practices of network buying.

Position Overview

We are looking for you - dynamic, best-in-class talent - to join the Mediabrands team as a Senior Associate, Investment. In this role you will support across direct investments including Linear TV, Digital Streaming, and Audio. As a Senior Associate, Investment you will create, innovate, and guide the buying process. This opportunity will kick-start your career in media and provide a platform to partner with the world’s leading consumer brands.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily monitoring of network buys, set specific deadlines for schedules, and ensure resolution of any billing discrepancies

Monitor cable and syndicated buys based on audience delivery data

Evaluate submissions and negotiate pricing

Prepare presentation materials, encompassing all pertinent data on buy, for submission to client

Train associates on best practices of network buying

Required Skills and Experience

Ability to perform media financial operations

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and proven problem-solving ability

Proficiency with Media bank or equivalent Inventory Management system

Desired Skills and Experience

1-2 years of buying experience

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word
