Job summary

Dimensional Fund Advisors is seeking a Senior Associate to support Regional Directors in business development and client services for independent advisor clients across the west coast. The role involves articulating investment principles to financial advisors and educating them on portfolio construction.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree (MBA/CFA preferred) and 5+ years in financial services, with licensing to be completed within 12 weeks.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; MBA and/or CFA strongly preferred.
5+ years of experience in Financial Services/Investment industry.
SIE, Series 7, and Series 63/66 licenses required and must be obtained within first 12 weeks of hire.

Responsibilities

Articulating complex investment principles and capital market research to financial advisors.
Educating financial advisors on portfolio construction and how our solutions work.
Interacting with advisors on practice management related issues.
Traveling with Regional Directors to build strong relationships with key advisor clients.
Delivering complex investment presentations to financial advisors.
Facilitating production of complex client driven requests among a team of Associates.
Developing a robust understanding of the advisor industry and related business practices.
