Job summary

Ladders is seeking an Associate General Counsel, Ads Product to partner with product and engineering teams on advertising products and infrastructure. This remote role focuses on balancing growth with privacy obligations and regulatory expectations in a fast-moving digital environment.

You will advise on AI/ML initiatives, data protection, and global compliance while guiding product strategy and business objectives.

Qualifications

10+ years of legal experience focused on online advertising.
Experience as ads product counsel at a user-generated content platform is a plus
Deep knowledge of technical ads infrastructure and emerging trends
Strong working knowledge of privacy laws and regulations, including GDPR and U.S. state privacy laws
JD and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar, or ability to register as in-house counsel

Responsibilities

Advise on technical product operations and business strategy to enable product growth
Serve as principal legal advisor across multiple advertising product areas
Develop legal and product principles for building products in a changing regulatory environment
Advise on emerging technologies such as AI and machine learning
Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and business partners across the organization
Ensure compliance with global privacy and data protection laws
