Job summary

Harvard University’s Faculty of Arts and Sciences seeks an experienced professional to serve as the primary contact for guidance and interpretation of the collective bargaining agreement with HAW-UAW. The role supports grievance processes, disciplinary investigations, and contract management across FAS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
• Minimum of 8 years’ relevant work experience
• Experience in higher education preferred
• Advanced knowledge of federal labor and employment law preferred

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary FAS contact for guidance and interpretation of the collective bargaining agreement with HAW-UAW
• Assist FAS managers in the grievance process in coordination with OLR and General Counsel
• Facilitate contract-related disciplinary investigations
• Manage FAS information and data requests to and from HAW with the Office of Labor and Employee Relations
• Represent FAS in university-wide committees on contract management and information systems
• Support contingency planning for potential labor disruptions
