Senior Associate, Communications

Position Overview

Are you passionate about strategic communications research, planning, and analysis; media relations; and events planning? If so, this is the right opportunity for you.

We are seeking a professional to join Pew's Communications staff supporting the work of the institutional and strategy team, including special projects. The position will contribute to a range of communications reports and projects.

In this role, you will:

• Report to the Director, Communications.
• Conduct media research, analysis, and outreach.
• Prepare, proof, and edit regular reports and other communications documents.
• Support the planning and execution of periodic internal and external events.
• Contribute to or help lead both internal and external communications strategies and coordination efforts.
• Collaborate with colleagues across Pew in the United States and around the world to ensure quality work and interact frequently with senior management across the institution.

The position, based in Pew's Washington, DC office, will participate in Pew's hybrid work program with core days in the office and the flexibility to telework the remaining days. Staff also enjoy four telework "flex weeks" per year.
