Job summary

Lorber, Greenfield & Olsen, LLP is seeking a Senior Associate Attorney to join our Tacoma litigation team. You will handle substantive work from day one, including motions, depositions, and trial preparation, with direct access to firm partners.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of civil litigation experience, strong writing and oral advocacy, and a track record managing complex dockets independently. Washington State Bar membership is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of civil litigation experience.
• Experience drafting and arguing motions.
• Confidence navigating the Washington court system.
• Skilled at depositions and witness examinations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong analytical instincts and judgment.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Active member of the Washington State Bar.
• Background in construction or casualty claims is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Draft and file motions, pleadings, and discovery with precision and persuasion.
• Represent clients in trials, arbitrations, depositions, and mediations.
• Keep clients and insurers informed and confident throughout the process.
• Deliver sound legal advice grounded in real litigation experience.
• Own your docket — manage day-to-day litigation tasks and meet billable targets.

The Role

We're looking for a sharp, motivated Senior Associate Attorney to join our Tacoma, WA litigation team. You'll be a core part of how we serve our clients — handling substantive work from day one, with real responsibility and direct access to firm partners. This isn't a seat-warmer position. You'll draft and argue motions, take and defend depositions, represent clients in trial, arbitration, and mediation, and provide strategic counsel that actually moves the needle.
