Qualifications

  • Knowledge of prevention, recognition, evaluation, and treatment of athletic injuries.
  • Emergency response to athletic injuries; rehabilitation and conditioning.
  • Understanding of evidence-based medicine and current standards of care.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with staff, patients, and families.

Responsibilities

  • Clinical administration of healthcare services for high-risk teams (70%).
  • Onsite care, injury management, prevention and rehabilitation.
  • Electronic documentation of patient encounters.
  • Lead injury prevention programs and risk reduction strategies.
  • Supervise junior athletic trainers; coordinate with SP4 team.
