New York Life Insurance Co. is seeking an AI Solution Architect to translate business goals into scalable AI-enabled architectures. You will guide cross-functional teams, design generative AI and ML solutions, and ensure governance and integration with enterprise standards.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to identify AI opportunities, document roadmaps, and lead technology evaluations to maximize business value while upholding responsible AI practices.

Role Overview:

The Solution Architect translates business vision into technology solutions, designing enterprise‑grade architectures that support innovation and efficiency. This role connects stakeholders across the organization to ensure solutions align with implementation‑focused objectives and technology standards.

As an AI Solution Architect, you will provide technical support and architectural guidance focused on artificial intelligence solutions, including generative AI and machine learning. You'll partner with business and technical stakeholders to identify AI opportunities, design scalable solutions that support business value, and guide the adoption of AI technologies while ensuring responsible practices, proper governance, and enterprise integration.

What You'll Do:

• Establish guidelines for responsible AI development and implementation
• Define data and infrastructure requirements for various AI solution types
• Evaluate AI technologies and platforms based on use case requirements
• Guide cross‑functional teams on implementation approaches for different AI technologies
• Develop frameworks for AI governance, monitoring, and continuous improvement

Core Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Proven experience as a Solution Architect or similar role
• Strong understanding of software architecture and technology principles
• Experience designing and implementing scalable and reliable systems

Pay Transparency

Salary Range:$110,000 - $140,000

Discretionary bonus eligible:Yes

Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual’s experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
