Job summary

hyrUP is looking for an Associate or Senior Associate to support strategic and transaction-related engagements across aerospace, defense, government services, and adjacent markets. You’ll work with investors, corporate leadership teams, and senior advisors on complex financial analyses, market research, valuations, and strategic decision-making.

You’ll gain meaningful ownership across active engagements, direct exposure to senior executives, and broad deal experience.

Qualifications

• 1–9 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, consulting, corporate development, strategy, or related field.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
• Experience or strong interest in aerospace, defense, government services, or industrial markets preferred.
• Strong communication, judgment, attention to detail, and ownership mentality.

Responsibilities

• Build and analyze financial models, valuations, and transaction scenarios.
• Conduct market, industry, and competitive research.
• Develop executive-ready presentations and client deliverables.
• Lead analytical workstreams and develop defensible recommendations.

Compensation

• Base salary typically ranges from approximately $110K to $180K (depending on level/experience)
• Significant performance bonus (typically 25% to 90%)
• Profit Sharing
