Job summary

Global Technical Talent is seeking a Sr. Associate for a largely laboratory-based role at our Thousand Oaks, CA site.

You will drive analytical support and technology development across process development teams, performing lab-based testing and cross-functional collaboration to scale understanding of processes and products in the client’s pipeline. The role requires strong HPLC and wet chemistry skills, with experience in dissolution and supporting documentation in GMP/non-GMP settings.

Qualifications

  • HPLC, wet chemistry, and dissolution proficiency.
  • Experience with small molecule analysis preferred.
  • Ability to generate accurate documentation using electronic systems and lab notebooks.
  • Comfort working in GMP and non-GMP environments.

Contract Details
  • Position Type: Contract
  • Contract Duration: 12 months
  • Pay Rate: $22.00–$25.00 / Hour (USD)
  • Shift / Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST

Job Summary

The Pivotal Attribute Sciences group is seeking a Sr. Associate for a position based at the Thousand Oaks, CA site. As the candidate for this largely laboratory-based position, you will be responsible for driving cutting-edge analytical support and technology development impacting process and product development teams across the client's portfolio. You will work cross-functionally and across Process Development sites as you use analytical science to help drive efficient development and scalable understanding of processes and products in the client's pipeline.

  • Lab-based analytical testing of drug product and drug substance using different techniques like HPLC, GC, Dissolution, and Water content.

  • Experience in the analysis of small molecules
  • Strong theoretical understanding, research in, and hands‑on experience with analysis of small molecule/peptide in support of process development/scale up activities and formulation development in GMP and non‑GMP environments
  • Experience with wet chemistry, chromatographic and spectroscopic techniques, i.e., HPLC, LCMS, GC, GCMS, dissolution, KF, pH meter, FTIR, UV, Raman, and NIR, etc.
  • Demonstrate independence and ability to produce quality results under minimal direction
  • Generate complete, accurate, and concise documentation using electronic systems and laboratory notebook
  • High‑energy individual who can multitask and handle a fast‑paced, dynamic work environment
  • Operate specialized laboratory equipment and instrumentation
  • Perform general laboratory housekeeping activities
  • Complete training on assigned tasks
  • Comply with safety guidelines and site‑specific procedures, which include but are not limited to the maintenance of training records, laboratory documentation, written procedures, building monitoring systems, and laboratory log books
Education Requirements
  • Master's degree OR Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience OR Associate's degree and 4 years of experience OR High school diploma / GED and 6 years of experience
  • Master's degree in Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences related discipline (preferred)
Required Experience
  • B.S. or M.S. degree in Analytical Chemistry, Life Sciences, or related technical discipline
  • 2 years' experience performing analytical testing
