Job summary

Spencer's is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for its Ellenton, Florida location. The ideal candidate will support the Store Manager in store operations, ensuring guest satisfaction and profitability.

Responsibilities include managing Guest Services, developing staff, and overseeing inventory in accordance with company policy. Candidates should have prior retail or management experience, and be physically capable of handling store demands.

The position offers approximately 38 hours of work per week with competitive hourly pay ranging from $18.00 to $18.25 based on qualifications.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and/or management experience required.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining Guest Services. The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in the various tasks involved in the overall operation of a store, ensuring maximum sales and profitability by developing staff, controlling expenses and shrinkage as well as all aspects of merchandising and inventory control in adherence with all Company policies and procedures.

This position will work up to 38 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.
• Prior retail and/or management experience required.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, climb ladders and lift up to 50 pounds for in excess of 8 hours per shift.
