Qualifications

• JD required and PA bar license.
• Experience representing indigent defendants preferred.
• Knowledge of criminal law, court rules, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Research crimes charged to determine elements and possible sentences.
• Represent indigent defendants and juveniles in criminal proceedings.
• Attend hearings, arraignments, and trials on behalf of clients.
• Negotiate plea agreements with the Commonwealth.
• Consult with clients, families, and probation officers as needed.
