Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Assembly Mechanic Level 3 to join our on-site manufacturing team. You will assemble complex mechanical components and systems with precision, following engineering drawings and quality standards while collaborating with engineering and production teams.

The role reports to the Production Supervisor and operates Monday through Friday, 2:00pm to 10:30pm. This position emphasizes safety, quality, and timely production, with benefits and opportunities

Qualifications

• Proven experience in mechanical assembly within a manufacturing environment, demonstrating ability to work with complex assemblies.
• Strong knowledge of interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and assembly instructions to produce accurate assemblies.
• Experience using hand and power tools, as well as precision measuring instruments, to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Ability to inspect assemblies for defects and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in mechanical assembly processes.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical components and systems according to engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments to perform assembly tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Inspect assemblies for defects and ensure compliance with safety and quality requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues.
