Atom Computing in Austin/Boulder offices is seeking a Senior ASIC Designer to own the DSP block from requirements through silicon bring-up, balancing performance, power, and area within quantum computing systems.

You will work with quantum physicists, engineers, and software teams to translate system needs into production-ready RTL and DSP hardware. The role demands deep ASIC expertise, collaboration, and the ability to drive complex designs end-to-end.

Qualifications

• Complete ASIC design cycle experience and RTL proficiency.
• Strong DSP knowledge and SystemVerilog familiarity.
• Ability to collaborate across physics, hardware, and software teams.

Responsibilities

• Design microarchitectures, RTL, testing and integration of ASIC blocks.
• Collaborate with quantum physicists, optical engineers, hardware and software teams to address use cases.
• Influence FPGA designs to prepare for ASIC deployment.
