Job summary

Zoetis is seeking an Aseptic Technician III to execute department tasks in compliance with cGMPs and site procedures. The role may lead activities in the Team Leader's absence and requires strong attention to inventory, batch records and environmental monitoring.

Responsibilities include operating equipment, preparing production schedules, and mentoring colleagues while ensuring safety and quality standards are met across seed production processes.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED required.
• Post High School education in the Sciences or related disciplines preferred.
• 3–5 years experience in manufacturing or Operator II level beneficial.
• Good mathematical, science and computer skills preferred.
• Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills required.
• Strong communication skills required.
• Demonstrated leadership and decision-making skills beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Execute and lead operations to comply with written procedures, including Batch Records and SOPs.
• Follow manufacturing, inventory and quality electronic systems as appropriate.
• Follow and comply with all financial procedures.
• Follow site safety procedures and improve safety culture.
• Operate departmental equipment, set up and take down, provide oversight as needed.
• Prepare daily production and work schedules.
• Work in a team environment and communicate with multiple departments.
• Perform environmental monitoring and staging of clean rooms.
• Perform accurate cell counts.
• Manipulate roller bottles or operate bioreactors for seed production.
• Monitor BMS alarms and document production activities.
• Perform inoculation, candling, and harvest of CEO seeds.
• Update and revise SOPs and MDs.
• Manage seed production schedule and assign resources.
• Lead, mentor and train colleagues; provide department oversight.
