Job summary

PNC Financial Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer in its ENS Wireless Network organization.

Based in one of the Technology Hub offices including Birmingham, AL, this role requires weekly in-office time and hands-on leadership for Aruba wireless deployments. The candidate will design, deploy, and support enterprise wireless networks, troubleshoot across wireless and network layers, and ensure secure, reliable wireless service while aligning with PNC’s infrastructure

Qualifications

Experience designing Aruba wireless networks and supporting enterprise deployments.
Strong troubleshooting across wireless, switching, routing, and authentication layers.
Solid understanding of RF principles, 802.11 standards, roaming behavior and wireless security.

Responsibilities

Provides platform engineering oversight, guiding the team to design, build and maintain technology solutions.
Develops software components and hardware for complex projects aligned with business strategies and objectives.
Offers expertise on engineering best practices, standards and complex resolutions for processes.
Emphasizes quality improvements; ensures deliverables are secure, scalable and reliable through estimation and correction.
Communicates with customers and integrates their needs with development to meet business objectives.
