Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
• Minimum of one year related teaching experience required.
• Experience working with older adult population preferred.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.

Responsibilities

• Develop lesson plans and activities for the class.
• Create an engaging, safe atmosphere and foster teamwork.
• Regularly communicate with the Director about participants and topics.
• Mentor and support new and first-time members.
• Maintain program documentation (sign-in sheets, attendance, etc.).
• Keep workspace organized and manage supplies and spaces.
• Prepare fashion shows and cultural activities with older adults.
