Job summary

GliaCell Technologies is seeking a Senior AI/ML Engineer with an active TS/SCI clearance to support a U.S. Government customer from Annapolis Junction, MD, with partial telework available.

This full-time role emphasizes developing and sustaining mission-critical software and systems using AI/ML techniques. You will contribute to data-driven model design, training, and evaluation while collaborating with mission-focused teams and applying industry-standard ML libraries.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship.
• Five (5) years experience in applied machine learning in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. A Master’s or Ph.D. degree in advanced math, artificial intelligence, data science, computer science or deep learning from an accredited college or university. 5 additional years of machine learning experience with a relevant Bachelor’s degree may be substituted for a Master’s degree.
• Experience with standard machine language frameworks, e.g. PyTorch, TensorFlow.
• Works well independently as well as on a team.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement ML/AI models for government-focused software and systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ML solutions into mission-critical environments.
• Evaluate and validate ML models, ensure verification and validation against requirements.

Job Description:

GliaCell is seeking a Senior AI/ML Engineer on one of our subcontracts. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to support a U.S. Government customer. The mission is to provide technical expertise that assists in sustaining critical mission-related software and systems to a large government contract.

Key Requirements:

To be considered for this position you must have the following:

• U.S. Citizenship

• Verify data and model output quality
• Identify differences in data distribution that affect model performance

Location:

Annapolis Junction, MD / Partial Telework (up to 16 hours per week) may be available for this position based on mission needs/available tasking at the discretion of leadership, after the individual has become fully acclimated to the duties and responsibilities of the position and has completed the necessary telework training.

Salary Range:

The salary range for this full-time position is $170,000 to $230,000. Our salary ranges are determined by position, level, skills, professional experience, relevant education and certifications.
