Barge Design Solutions, Inc. is seeking a senior architectural professional to design and document technical solutions for a discipline or market practice area in our Orlando, FL office.

You will manage project documentation and provide technical leadership on large, complex projects, collaborating with clients and teams to meet objectives. Responsibilities

  • Design and documentation of technical solutions for a discipline or market practice area.
  • Manage and maintain project documentation for the discipline.
  • Provide technical leadership on large, complex projects as needed.
  • Review project documents for conformity and quality assurance.
  • Develop strong client relationships and advise leadership.

Job description

What We're Looking For:
  • Responsible for the design and documentation of a technical solutions for a specific discipline or specific market practice area.
  • Manages and maintains project documentation for specific discipline or practice area.
  • Brings significant technical design expertise engaged in the identification of design considerations and potential issues, participates in the research and development of solutions to architecture and other technical challenges, and is involved in the production or validation of the work applied to those solutions.
  • Keeps informed, evaluates, and implements new methods and developments affecting the organization.
  • May support PM as a technical leader on large, complex projects.
  • Reviews complete project documents for conformity and quality assurance.
  • Assists leadership and staff as a technical advisor.
  • Leads complex technical portions of meetings with clients.
  • Develops strong relationships with clients, customers, officials, contractors, and others.
  • Effectively partners with business and teams to meet objectives.
  • Performs other duties as requested.
Education & Experience Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree from accredited program
  • Minimum of 10 years architectural experience
  • Architect Registration required.
  • Extensive knowledge and expertise acquired through progressive experience to resolve crucial issues and/or unique conditions
  • Strong knowledge of design, construction procedures, zoning, building codes, and building materials.
  • Strong negotiating skills in dealing with code officials, clients and contractors
