Key responsibilities include defining the target operating environment, designing for client resiliency, assisting with solution design, and defining non‑functional requirements. Job expectations include working with stakeholders and service providers aligned to the Business's strategic objectives, evaluating the impact of strategic design decisions, and contributing to the architecture roadmap.

We are seeking a highly skilled, hands‑on Senior Architect to lead the design and delivery of next‑generation, AI‑driven agentic solutions across our Client Servicing and Money Movement portfolio. This role sits at the intersection of business transformation, advanced AI, and modern engineering, and is critical to driving intelligent automation, enhancing client experience, and reducing operational friction.

The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise, strong architectural leadership, and a proven ability to design, build, and scale AI‑powered platforms—while remaining actively engaged in hands‑on delivery.

Responsibilities

• Work across the business, operations and technology to create the solution intent and architectural vision for complex solutions and prioritize functional and non‑functional requirements into a technology backlog to enable the technology roadmap and functionality to support evolving capabilities and services.
• Contribute to the creation of the architecture roadmap of defined domains (Business, Application, Data, and Technology) in support of the product roadmap and the development of best practices including standardized templates.
• Clarify the architecture, assist with system design to support implementation, and provide solution options to resolve any architectural impediments.
• Facilitate solution‑driven discussions, lead the design of complex architectures, and find creative solutions through knowledge of domain, practical experiments, and proof of concepts while ensuring the architecture is flexible, modular, and adaptable.
• Educate team members on the technology practices, standardization strategies, and best practices to create innovative solutions.
• Support the team as needed to select the technology stack required for solutions and help select preferred technology products.
• Perform design and code reviews to ensure all non‑functional requirements are sufficiently met (for example, security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, and reliability).

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering and architecture, with recent focus on AI/ML and distributed systems.
• Proven track record building enterprise‑scale solutions within financial services or regulated environments.
• Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, orchestration frameworks, and agentic architectures.
• Strong understanding of client servicing and/or money movement processes (e.g., payments, transfers, ACH, wires).
• Experience designing AI‑driven workflow automation or digital assistants.
• Knowledge of risk, compliance, and fraud detection in financial transactions.
• Experience with agent frameworks such as LangChain, RASA, or similar.
• Demonstrated success taking AI solutions from POC to production scale.
