Bank of America is seeking a senior enterprise/solution architect to define the architectural vision across business, application, data, and technology domains. You will guide large-scale initiatives, evaluate impacts, and ensure solutions meet non-functional requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
Experience designing and delivering large-scale technology solutions.
Strong knowledge of architecture frameworks, design patterns, and system integration.
Experience defining target-state architectures, roadmaps, and technology strategies.
Expertise in security, scalability, performance, reliability, and other non-functional requirements.
Experience leading architecture reviews, design reviews, and POCs.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Job Description

This role is responsible for defining an architectural vision and architecture for large, complex solutions that align with enterprise architecture strategy, technology, and platform choices across Business, Application, Data, and Technology domains. The position evaluates system impacts, defines solution intent and operating environments, supports end-to-end solution design, establishes non-functional requirements, and ensures solutions are fit for purpose through collaboration with stakeholders, vendors, and service providers.

Required Qualifications

10+ years of experience in solution, application, data, or enterprise architecture.
Experience designing and delivering large-scale, complex technology solutions.
Strong knowledge of architecture frameworks, design patterns, and system integration.
Experience defining target-state architectures, roadmaps, and technology strategies.
Expertise in security, scalability, performance, reliability, and other non-functional requirements.
Experience leading architecture reviews, design reviews, and proof-of-concepts (POCs).
Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience working within Agile and/or hybrid delivery environments.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
