Job summary

Ausland Group is seeking a Licensed Senior Architect / Project Manager to lead design vision and execution on high-profile projects across the Pacific Northwest. You will shape projects from concept through construction, mentor staff, and coordinate with engineering and construction teams to deliver integrated, buildable solutions.

The role emphasizes design development, documentation, and client relationships within a Design+Build framework, with opportunities to lead teams and drive excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture required.
• Active architectural license in Oregon or ability to obtain reciprocity within 6 months.
• 8+ years of professional experience including project leadership.
• Proven expertise in Revit and familiarity with Autodesk tools.
• Deep knowledge of building codes, permitting processes, and construction methods.
• Strong communication, leadership, and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive design development, technical documentation, and quality control for commercial, civic, and cultural projects.
• Oversee project teams, ensuring design intent, schedule, and budget alignment.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move up to 25 lbs. occasionally.
• Sitting (or driving) in a normal seated position for extended periods of time.
• Reaching by extending hand(s) or arm(s) in any direction.
• Finger dexterity is required to manipulate objects with fingers rather than with whole hand(s) or arm(s), i.e.: using a keyboard.
• Ability to see within normal parameters.
• Ability to hear within normal range.
• Ability to move about a construction site including, but not limited to: climbing ladders and scaffolds, and walk over uneven terrain.
