We are in search of a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architect to join our team in Akron, Ohio. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for architecture and design to work on a variety of projects and contribute to the growth of our company.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design process from conception to completion.
• Develop creative and practical solutions that meet client requirements.
• Prepare detailed drawings, models and presentations for client approval.
• Review construction drawings and provide technical support during construction phase.
• Conduct site visits to ensure design specifications are being met.
• Mentor and guide junior architects in their professional development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a practicing architect.
• Strong knowledge of architectural design principles, building codes and regulations.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp or other 3D modeling software.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with clients and team members.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred

• Licensed architect in Ohio or ability to obtain license within 6 months of employment.
• Experience working on commercial or residential projects.
• LEED certification.
• Experience with sustainable design practices.
