Job summary

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. seeks an Archaeological Principal Investigator to lead field studies, desktop reviews, and project permitting for renewable energy and land development projects across the country.

The candidate will oversee field investigations, prepare technical reports, and coordinate with clients, subconsultants, and agencies while supporting growth of Cultural Resources services. Travel 2–10 days as needed.

Qualifications

• Background research, field surveys and technical report preparation are required.
• Experience leading proposals, work plans and project documentation.
• Ability to supervise field investigations and coordinate with clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead field studies and desktop reviews for projects nationwide.
• Directly supervise field technicians and prepare technical reports.
• Coordinate with federal/state agencies, clients and sub consultants.
• Assist in business development for cultural resources services.
