Job summary
INCATech is urgently seeking a System Engineer to implement advanced ArcGIS deployments, analyze and resolve technical issues, and optimize performance across diverse environments. You will consult with end users on enterprise deployment, architecture and integration topics, ensuring alignment with customers' GIS requirements.
Responsibilities include deploying ArcGIS, migrating deployments, and troubleshooting storage, networking, and security.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of professional experience in a similar position supporting ArcGIS deployments and related IT infrastructure.
- Experience designing, implementing and/or administrating enterprise ArcGIS or other comparable IT systems (desktop, server and online).
- Broad system administration experience on Windows and/or Linux.
- Familiarity with network concepts (domains, directories, DNS, HTTPS, firewalls, proxies, load-balancing).
- Experience with at least one RDBMS (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL) and SQL query writing.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, GIS or STEM fields.
Responsibilities
- Deploy and configure ArcGIS across diverse environments to meet SLAs.
- Plan and execute migration of content between ArcGIS deployments and architectures.
- Troubleshoot advanced ArcGIS deployments, advising on storage, networking and security.
- Collaborate with customers/partners to design GIS workflows and align objectives with Esri technology.
- Work with Esri users to implement architecture and integration topics.
