Job summary

Spectraforce Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Lab Technician V for on-site work in Redmond, WA, to support ADT prototyping labs building AR devices. You will own day-to-day lab operations, tool calibration, safety, and training of staff on stations and equipment.

The role focuses on maintaining readiness of precision tools (3D printers, optical, laser, and metrology instruments), managing materials, and coordinating vendor service to keep projects on schedule in a fast-moving R&D environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on lab/tech experience in an R&D, prototyping, or hardware development environment.
• Associate degree or technical certificate in engineering or related field.
• Experience operating and troubleshooting precision lab equipment.
• Strong documentation: SOPs, logs, calibration, inventory.

Responsibilities

• Operate assembly and alignment stations to support prototype builds.
• Run lens fabrication and Rx support with listed equipment.
• Support calibration stations and metrology, set up fixtures and collect data.
• Maintain rapid-prototyping equipment and manage print queues.
• Maintain equipment readiness and coordinate vendor service.
• Keep lab inventory current and manage materials.
